about me

   Welcome! I am the Chef/Owner of Fallaha Dining, a California-Palestinian pop-up restaurant based in San Francisco.  Fallaha Dining celebrates the bounty of California's climate and diversity--with a Palestinian Twist.  Growing up in a Palestinian household where food was the center of every gathering truly molded my love for food and entertaining.

   In the last 8 years, I have had the honor of working in some of SF's best restaurants including Jardiniere, Roka Akor, and Serpentine.  I have trained in French, Japanese, and American cuisine which have all played a very big role in my culinary identity today. California cuisine celebrates the diversity of the people who live here by bridging the gap amongst cultures and shows through food that we are so closely connected through our traditions, customs, and especially our cuisines.

   I consider myself lucky to have been born in a state that truly embraces diversity.  My mission is to take all the influences of my culinary training, California's diverse offerings, and my upbringing to create my own version of Californian Cuisine from a first generation Palestinian perspective.
